Thompson Group Services were established in 1998 under the ‘CTM Fire and Security’ brand and operate from a Northern area office in Leyland, Lancashire and a Southern area office in London, providing effective coverage of the most heavily populated areas of the UK.

Following integration into the Thompson Group in mid 2008, Thompson Group Services received significant levels of investment to improve operational efficiency and health and safety, as well as the provision of comprehensive sector skills training – enabling the team to offer the same comprehensive range of services as the rest of the Thompson Group.

From our original roots as a specialist fire detection and protection business, Thompson Group Services have now amassed a wealth of experience in the design, installation and maintenance of access control systems, CCTV, intruder detection, public address and voice alarm systems as well as complex voice and data network infrastructures.

Working under the same ‘Commitment to Delivering Excellence’ ethos as the rest of the Thompson Group, we continue to deliver the highest levels of quality and customer service in everything we do, and have now further evolved to become the Service & Maintenance centre of excellence for all of the Thompson Group clients across the UK.

Our Nationwide Helpdesk team are based out of the Leyland office and operate as the first point of call for anyone requiring either Planned Preventative Maintenance or Reactive call outs for their security, fire, communications and life safety systems.

As with other members of the Group – Thompson Group Services’ focus is always on providing the most appropriate, robust and cost effective solution to suit not only the project and site requirements, but also those of the client, and where appropriate, the day to day end user.
